The idea for this piece came from wanting to do a mouse! I think this piece turned out very well.. although I was trying to create realism. Anyway...

Date: 5th October 2011.
Time: About 5 hours.
Program: Photoshop 7.
Brush Set(s): Standard PS7 Brush Sets
Tools: Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch (tablet).
Information: Completly drawn from scratch - doodles of my own and such.

The mouse is very cute looking. However what really grabbed my attention with the realism is the sky, it looks fantastic especially the moon. The texture of the fur looks great too :)

I hand drew the fur. I am proud. Infact everything in this piece is hand drawn using basic PS7 brush set. I am happy. Although this never meant to be a deviation it meant to be a test for doing fur and I was inspired enough to do a mouse thus TADAR!

Awwww!!! :love: The mouse is so cute! :D I really love the background too! :D

The only crit I have, though, is the mouse. ^^; The arms look a bit too thick, I think? ^^; The pose seems a little... off to me. I feel like the upper body should be a bit lower and a little further to the left, kinda like these? : [link] and [link] ?

Anyhoo, I really like how you did the fur and the acorn! :D The sky is amazing too! :love:

Thank you. To be honest it was just doodles and very thrown together. The point behind it was practicing and not really creating a winning piece. But if people like it then that's a plus! Thank you again :hug:

Don't be sorry at all, I apprechiated what you said. If more people were like you then I'd of made improvements a long time ago. Most people just fave or dissmiss my work and don't comment/crit at all. I loved that you did! Thank you!
