Description
Ok so again with the art improvements. Decided to try out something to take my mind off of over thinking other stuff I'm doing right now.
It was suggested to me I try to digitally paint a self portrait. So that's what I did. Apx 14 hours and it wasn't easy.
The image I used as ref (and no I didn't just copy I tried to enhance such as adding in piercings, nails, jewellery etc etc - as if the phote was taken of the opposite side of me) anyway if you want to see what I look like (god help you) Picture of Ones Self!! you can also find older pictures of me (which are stock) here missimoinsane-stock

Compared to the last time I came by to look at your work, it looks like all that focus and effort is finally paying off <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>.The unique view and skill that has gone into this work makes it stand out, I found myself unable to just pass by it-I had to click and see more.
Upon closer inspection, one can see that you have captured the figure very well. The composition elements are used professionally to create a well spaced, well rendered self-portrait. However, I find that your attention to detail is alittle inconsistend. The skin textures are vibrant and flow from one tone to another, but your line work and lighting seem rushed and can be worked on. Places like the spectacles, hair and hands reflect and cast highlights in various tones and I believe you could've done better on them.
Overall very well done, put simply: i LOVE this work and am looking forward to seeing more from you <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="
