This is my half of an art trade with aka *katdarkshines who is a fantastic artist! and great friend!

Yes I wanted to practice my digital skills but the lovely *katdarkshines asked if I would do this traditionally so that she could have it! (Friend both on n off dA!)

So she asked if I could do a traditional version of [link] which I agree'd too! As part of our art trade!!

So taking into account everything I know how to do traditionally and all stuff I've picked up while doing my other forms of artwork I was able to create this!

I started working with pencils upon A4 white printer paper to make a basic out line, I thought I'd do it in black and white pencils with perhaps a touch of black ball point pen. Only I remebered I have some unused water colour pencils and so I decided to embrace them along side the drawing pencils and ball point pen. I continued and then decided for easy use I'd use a black perminant marker to do her top which I them used in the hair too... I then went on to create the background upon finishing the whole piece (just over 4 hours) when I started doing the background but the water colour pencils were miss behaving and my smoke ruined the whole piece. So I took it off to my bedroom and decided to go over it in blues, purples and grays (eye shadow) only I got a bit carried away and decided to go over the hair so it was more brown, to go over the skin so it was more shaded and gave off a more realistic look and then to use various eye shadows to enhance the piece in areas I felt it needed. I then went and got a black fine liner and ust wont over some of the smaller areas (eyes, nostril, buckel etc) and then wrote my dA user, signed and dated. I then finished the whole thing off with a light spray of hairspray just incase!!! (de-smudgey-ness!)

I am deffinitly going to miss this as I am so very proud of it. But I need to get a frame and then Miss Katrina can have it
