FYI: This deviation has been moved to my "new" dA ~missimoinsane-crafts while this channel remains my main I have created a side channel for my crafts.

Ok so I decided I want to start doing some hands on stuff and this is the first thing I have made properly from paper work. So I took a premade tag and traced it onto silver glittery card and added the black with white dots strip which was packaging!! and also the pink felt butterfly and the ribbon tied at the top with a braiding hair band and left open the front for a picture and journal lines on the back for journaling and it's my first tag to go in my scapbook album I am making which is a w.i.p atm!!

This looks lovely. The choice of the pink butterfly with the glittery silver and the ribbon makes for an appealing mix.

Looks pretty good for a first one to me :)
My mum's business and job is cardmaking and scrapbooking, and some of her first stuff about 6 years back is just plain awful - we laugh about it now xD

I wish I had that, my Dad is very artistic but he doesn't really bother with it that much. My Mum spent loads of money on card making stuff and never did it she bought loads of stuff to do personalised wedding invites to her and my stepdads wedding but she never did. It just sat in a box and then one day my little Sister (aged 5 at the time) got her hands on it and that was that. But it'd be nice to have someone to craft with or do similar things with, I think that's why I have joined so many groups and such. Best one thus far is "crafty chat" on facebook - such lovely people!! [link]

Aww, that's a shame :( it is great having a crafty mum and all my friends love it too because they get personalised handmade birthday cards xD it is so expensive though! My mum has hundreds of pounds worth of stuff. Have you come across die-cuts yet? My mum makes and sells them on eBay as her business. If you don't know what they are, here's her shop: [link]
Oh, crafters really are lovely people :) if you ever come across a Toinette on a Facebook group, it's probably my mum xD
